Beginners' Classes in Newmarket
About this class We dance in a lovely air-conditioned studio with a sprung wooden floor. The mirrors are a real bonus as they help you to see the moves you are doing. New women always welcome! This term we are going to teach in blocks of three weeks, each block fociusing on a range of moves. 4, 11, 18 Jan: Back to basics - posture, muscle drills, isolations and key moves 25 Jan, 1, 8 Feb: Lively - shimmies, hip drops, hip lifts and accents 15, 22, 29 Feb: Slinky - arms, smooth moves, graceful travelling and transitions 7,14,21 Mar: Choreography - learn a routine to a traditional Egyptian song 28 March: Just Dance! Favourite tracks and your requests, pile on th e bling! * This is an exercise class, so wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water. Getting There The centre is on Exning Road on your left as you head out of Newmarket - look out for the sign for the college. The venue is staffed all evening, and has a well-lit, free car park.
