Beginners' Classes in Central Manchester

The Manchester City Centre class has moved to the Sudgen Sports Centre on Grosvenor Street - about 200 yards from the Aquatics Centre. The move means we won't have to worry about pressure from other centre users at the beginning and end of classes so you can relax and enjoy your session!

Getting There

The Sudgen Centre is just off Oxford Road and Upper Brook Street so it's really easy to get to by car, bus, bike or on foot. It is a modern building, slightly set back from the road but easy to spot, and is staffed and well-lit all evening.

Tell reception that you are here for belly dancing, and they will direct you up to the right place.

Bus Routes

The following buses stop outside or very near the centre: 15, 16, 16A, 41, 42, 42A, 43, 44, 45, 46, 48, 111, 140, 142, 143, 144, 147, 157, 191, 197.

Parking

There is a small amount of free on-street parking if you’re lucky. Otherwise, there is a large NCP car park opposite the centre, on Booth Street East. A discount is available to users of the Sudgen Centre – bring your parking ticket with you to get it validated.
