Classes in Central Manchester

We dance in a lovely air-conditioned studio with a sprung wooden floor. The mirrors are a real bonus as they help you to see the moves you are doing. Please arrive a bit early to sign in and pay, so that we can start on time.

Getting There

The Aquatics centre is sandwiched between Oxford Road and Upper Brook Street (A34) and so is easily accessible by car, bus, bike or on foot. It is a large building that is easy to spot, and is staffed and well-lit all evening.

Tell reception that you are here for belly dancing, and they will direct you up to the studio.

Bus Routes

The following buses stop outside or very near the centre: 15, 16, 16A, 41, 42, 42A, 43, 44, 45, 46, 48, 111, 140, 142, 143, 144, 147, 157, 191, 197.

Parking

There is a small amount of free on-street parking if you’re lucky. Otherwise, there is a large NCP car park opposite the centre, on Booth Street East. A discount is available to users of the Aquatics Centre – bring your parking ticket with you to get it validated.
